Mike Rife
James Michael (Mike) Rife is a 1978 graduate of Grundy High School in Grundy, VA. After high school, Mike attended and graduated from Kentucky Christian College in 1982. After graduation from KCC, Mike held a youth ministry at the Little Prater Church of Christ in Grundy, VA. After this he has held preaching ministries at the Big Branch Church of Christ, Oakwood, VA, and The Second Street Church of Christ, Frazeysburg, Ohio. He and his family moved to Vansant in September of 1990.
Mike is married to Kathy (Franklin) Rife. She is originally from Shelbyville, KY. She grew up and along with her family was very active in The Shelby Church of Christ, Shelbyville, KY. They have three children: Brittany, age 9; Bethany, age 7; and Benjamin, age 4.
